Peach Dutch Baby
This Peach Dutch Baby was my first to make, first to eat, and absolutely a treat to enjoy! This unique breakfast derived from a German pancake dish, but showed up in America in the early 1900’s in the popover form we make today. I added peaches and cinnamon for a lovely end of the summer flavor burst, to blend with the coming fall. Try this easy to make recipe today.
Peaches n’ Cream Overnight Oats
This recipe for how to make overnight oats includes one of my childhood favorite fruits, eastern peaches, along with sweet vanilla and almond flavors to give you a delicious, care-free breakfast you will love to wake up to. Everything is mixed together in a few minutes and put in the fridge overnight and ready to enjoy when you wake up.
Blueberry Lemon Overnight Oats
These Blueberry Lemon Overnight Oats are deliciously refreshing! The lemon zest and juice adds a bright note to compliment the sweet, juicy blueberries. Greek yogurt and milk supply a little protein and oats add healthy fiber. Everything is mixed together in a bowl or jar and placed in the fridge overnight to enjoy in the morning for a tasty and convenient breakfast.
Banana Nut Healthy Pancakes
Enjoy these Banana Nut Healthy Pancakes guilt-free. These healthier version of pancakes are made with minimal ingredients such as banana, egg, oats, cinnamon and walnuts…that’s it! One bite and you’ll see that these may be healthier, but they are still sweet tasting, with warm notes of cinnamon spice and a hearty crunch from the nuts. These Banana Nut Healthy Pancakes make a very satisfying breakfast for one. This recipe will make four 3 1/2 inch size pancakes, so double or triple according to servings needed.
Egg Salad & Avocado Sandwich
This Egg Salad & Avocado Sandwich has a great flavor kick and easily enjoyed on whole grain bread with spinach or lettuce. Hard-boiled eggs, fresh avocado and Heinz's BuffaRanch blend together perfectly for a healthy sustaining breakfast sandwich.
Hard-Boiled Eggs
This recipe is for simple Hard-Boiled Eggs. This is a staple recipe that everyone should have on hand, because there are several dishes that use hard-boiled eggs, such as salads, sandwiches, chicken casserole, potato salads and my favorite…deviled eggs! Easy step-by-step photo instructions.
Buttermilk Banana Pancakes
Fluffy, full of flavor, fulfilling and much healthier than a normal version with processed sugar, these Buttermilk Banana Pancakes will start your day off right! Add in some dark chocolate and walnuts to make a hearty complete breakfast with brain fuel to last all morning. Makes 15 four inch pancakes. Simple step-by-step photo instructions for Buttermilk Banana Pancakes.
Baked Cobbler Oats Breakfast
This Baked Cobbler Oats Breakfast is a comforting and healthy way to start the day. Put away those cereal bowls and preheat the oven for this delicious breakfast for two, (or one!) This is meant to be baked in a small dish. You can use a 5 x 7 or round 6 inch diameter dish. You can also use ramekins or a small cast iron skillet. The fruit you choose can be versatile. I used fresh plums, but you can also use peaches, apricots, or fresh figs or get creative with what you have in season.
Ginger Spiced Streusel Muffins
These Ginger Spiced Streusel Muffins are absolutely delicious. Yes, I put them in the “breakfast” category, but really it’s like “dessert for breakfast” and pairs well with your morning coffee or some chai tea! Reminiscent of gingerbread, but with a crunchy nut streusel topping it’s a treat for your taste buds, and also a lovely aroma while cooking in your oven. Some of the ingredients include crystallized ginger, ground cloves, applesauce, toasted pecans, coffee, and molasses.
Quiche Tart
This Quiche Tart can be made for breakfast, brunch…or if you are like our family, we enjoy a “breakfast for dinner” every now and then. My recipe for this quiche tart uses turkey sausage, but you can easily substitute for regular sausage, bacon or even ham (or make it a meat lover’s trifecta and use all three!) It’s a light and fluffy quiche tart, full of flavor, and is complimented well with a side of fruit. Surprise your loved one with breakfast in bed or make mini tarts for a brunch or tea party.
Apple Rose Puffs
These beautiful Apple Rose Puffs would be a deliciously perfect way to brighten a loved one’s morning. Impress and surprise your mom, wife or someone special with these easy, but fanciful breakfast roses. Serve with their favorite coffee or tea and have a few fresh roses on the table for decoration and make them feel so loved. These are made with puff pastry sheets, fresh apples and I used a plant based cream cheese alternative mixed with honey, but you can use regular cream cheese or even a jam or fruit spread like apricot.
