This is meant to be baked in a small dish. You can use a 5 x 7 or round 6 inch diameter dish. You can also use ramekins or a small cast iron skillet. The fruit you choose can be versatile. I used fresh plums, but you can also use peaches, apricots, or fresh figs or get creative with what you have in season.
