Dairy Free / Gluten Free

Deliciously spooky purple sweet potato smoothie bowl just in time for healthy Halloween eating! Made with cooked purple sweet potatoes, blueberries, peaches along with a touch of honey, cherry juice and vanilla for a perfectly blended and very creamy smoothie full of nutritious benefits and packed with antioxidants. This purple sweet potato smoothie bowl is gluten free and dairy free. If you want to make this a vegan smoothie bowl, substitute maple syrup in place of honey.

I wanted to add an extra spooky touch for the Halloween season by adding a garnish of frozen skulls made by blending together pink dragon fruit, bananas and a touch of almond milk and I also sprinkled with chopped dark chocolate, which is the perfect complement to this purple sweet potato smoothie. Makes approximately 15 ounces.

Let’s begin!
