Instructions

  • PREHEAT oven to 300℉ / 149℃ and lightly grease a baking sheet.
  • Add all ingredients, except flour to a large bowl.
  • Mix until smooth and creamy at medium speed.
  • Slowly add in flour, mixing at medium speed until well incorporated.
  • Wrap dough in plastic wrap and place in freezer to chill for about 5 minutes.
  • Prepare your roll-out space by lightly flouring a clean surface, rolling pin and cutters.
  • Roll out dough to 1/4 inch thick and cut out shapes.
  • Place cut outs on a lightly greased baking sheet. They will not spread much, so you can place them close to each other, about 1/2 inch apart.
  • Baking times: For small treats, bake 35-40 minutes. For medium, bake 40-45 minutes. For large, bake 45-50 minutes.
  • After removing from oven, let dog treats cool on pan completely, then put them back in the oven for at least 4-6 hours to dry out further (this will extend the shelf life of your treats)
  • After cooling process, dog treats can be stored at room temperature in an airtight container for up to 3 weeks.
