Orange Immune Boost Smoothie

This Orange Immune Boost Smoothie is a very delicious way to get your daily dose of Vitamin C, along with many other healthy benefits. Carrots, pineapple and oranges work together to give you plenty of vitamin C, A and K, potassium, calcium, fiber and healthy carbohydrates to fuel your day and boost your immune system.
Servings 2 smoothies

Ingredients
  

  • 1 large carrot
  • 1 cup pineapple chunks
  • 1 orange peeled and sliced
  • 1/2 cup yogurt or yogurt alternative I used SO Delicious Vanilla Coconutmilk yogurt alternative
  • 6-8 cubes of ice

Instructions
 

  • Add all ingredients to a blender or smoothie machine, pulse a few times, then blend on low for 15 seconds, then on high until smooth, about 1 minute.

Notes

For a smoother texture, juice your carrots first, using a juicer.
For a thicker texture, add less pineapple or orange and more yogurt.
