Hard Boiled Eggs

This recipe is for simple Hard-Boiled Eggs. This is a staple recipe that everyone should have on hand, because there are several dishes that use hard-boiled eggs, such as salads, sandwiches, chicken casserole, potato salads and my favorite…deviled eggs!

Ingredients
  

  • Eggs
  • Water
  • Pot

Instructions
 

  • Place eggs in a pot large enough to add cold water till water is at least 1 inch above the top of the eggs.
  • On high heat, bring water to a boil, then put lid on pot and remove from heat. Let eggs cook, covered, for 12-14 minutes.
  • Transfer eggs to a bowl filled with ice water and let cool for 12-15 minutes.
  • Use the back side of a spoon to gently crack egg shell, rotating all around and peel egg shell off and discard.
