Dairy Free Pumpkin Spice Latte

Pumpkin Spice Latte is a popular favorite seasonal beverage with all the traditional autumn spices in a hot cozy cup of coffee and frothy milk blended together in delightful bliss. My version is dairy-free, made with real pumpkin puree and naturally sweetened and comes together in just a few minutes. Makes one 12 oz serving.

Ingredients
  

  • Mason Jar or container with tight fitting lid
  • 8-10 oz hot brewed coffee
  • 1 tbsp pure maple syrup
  • 1/2 tsp pumpkin spice
  • 1 tbsp pumpkin puree
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk or plant-based milk

Instructions
 

  • First, add hot brewed coffee and maple syrup to mason jar and stir until dissolved.
  • Next, add pumpkin spice and puree to jar and stir.
  • Add milk, then secure lid and shake vigorously until well blended and frothy.
  • Remove lid, then microwave for 40-60 seconds or until hot.
  • Pour into mug, glass or to-go cup and drink as is, or add a dollop of dairy-free whipped topping and sprinkle a dash of nutmeg or cinnamon on top.
