Crockpot Salsa Chicken Tacos

This recipe for salsa chicken tacos is my best recipe for a super easy crockpot supper the entire family will love. Easy on the wallet, easy on the cook. Three simple ingredients to create the taco filling, then just add whatever taco vessel and toppings you want!

Ingredients
  

  • 2-3 big boneless chicken breasts
  • 1 packet taco seasoning or a taco dinner kit with seasoning and shells
  • 1 jar salsa I used a 16 oz jar of Green Mountain Gringo Salsa, Medium

Instructions
 

  • Add chicken breasts to bottom of crockpot.
  • Evenly add entire packet of taco seasoning on top of chicken.
  • Top chicken with entire jar of salsa.
  • Cook on high for 4-6 hours, or on low for 8 hours.
  • After cook time is up, use two forks to shred chicken.
  • Let shredded chicken soak in juices for 5-10 minutes while cooling down to serving temperature.
  • Serve in hard or soft shells with desired toppings.
