Cauliflower Steak Pizza (Vegan/Gluten Free)

This Cauliflower Steak Pizza is vegan, gluten free and dairy free. All the delicious pizza flavors are in this easy and recipe. No dough to make or buy, just simple ingredients: Start with a cauliflower head and olive oil and pile on whatever healthy toppings your heart desires.

Ingredients
  

  • Cauliflower head sliced into 1-inch-thick pieces
  • Extra Virgin Olive Oil I use Olivo Amigo EVOO
  • Mrs. Dash Italian Blend seasoning
  • Pizza sauce
  • Desired toppings such as: mushrooms olives, spinach, dairy-free cheese etc.

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven or toaster oven to 425℉ / 218℃ and line a baking sheet with foil or parchment paper.
  • Brush on olive oil on both sides of cauliflower steak and place on prepared baking sheet.
  • Sprinkle top of cauliflower steak with Italian seasoning and roast, uncovered, for 15 minutes.
  • Carefully flip over cauliflower slices. (You can use tongs and/or a spatula.)
  • Sprinkle more Italian seasoning on top, then spread a thin layer of pizza sauce on each slice.
  • Load on desired toppings. I added spinach, mushrooms, black olives and a light sprinkle of dairy-free cheese.
  • Place back in oven and roast another 15 minutes. When done, remove from oven and let cool 1-2 minutes before slicing and enjoying.
