Butternut Banana Popsicles (vegan/gluten free)

Transform butternut squash soup into a refreshing and fulling summertime frozen treat by making these healthy butternut banana popsicles. Delicious, nourishing and satisfying frozen snack that is simple to make.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 12oz pack of Proper Good Butternut Squash Soup
  • 2 large bananas very ripe
  • 1/2 cup of dairy-free vanilla yogurt alternative I use So Delicious coconutmilk vanilla yogurt alternative
  • 1 tsp Origine Organic Vanilla Extract
  • 1/2 tsp Origine Organic Ground Cinnamon
  • Optional: 1/2 tsp Mary Ruth’s Organic liquid probiotic drops.
  • Popsicle mold and sticks

Instructions
 

  • Add all ingredients to a blender or food processor. Pulse a few times, then blend on high for 40-60 seconds until very smooth. (You can optionally use a hand mixer.)
  • Using a pour spout measuring cup, carefully add mixture to each mold, filling till 1/4 inch from the top.
  • Place lid on top of mold and insert popsicle sticks. Freeze for4-6 hours or until set. Note: If you do not have a mold with a lid like this, let popsicles freeze for 40-50 minutes, then insert sticks and continue freezing.
  • How to unmold popsicles: When ready to enjoy popsicles, either set out for a few minutes before unmolding, or set mold in a container filled with warm, NOT HOT, water for 15-20 seconds and they should easily unmold.
