Ingredients
Instructions
- Place all ingredients into smoothie cup or blender in order listed, pulse a few times then blend on high for one minute, or until smooth.
- Spoon smoothie mixture into a coconut bowl and garnish as desired or pour into a glass and enjoy sipping with a paper straw.
Notes
Optional garnishes: I added milled flax seeds to resemble sand and cutout star fish shaped bananas to put on top. Coconut flakes are also a great topping to compliment the tropical flavors. For an extra special touch, use a mermaid tail silicone mold, found HERE and melt dairy-free white chocolate or candy melts spoon in mold and let set. For a magical glittery sheen brush on some edible glitter, found HERE.
Note: You can substitute the pineapple juice for 1/2 cup fresh pineapple if desired. (I just didn't have room in my smoothie cup)
