Before we begin, here is a few fun facts about this rare celestial occurance for 2024:

• The states in America that will have eclipse totality and best for viewing include: Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Missouri, Kentucky, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, New York, Pennsylvania, Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine…and it will very slightly clip tiny areas of Michigan and Tennessee. • Total solar eclipses only occur when its a new moon phase. The new moon passes between the earth and the sun.
• The stars and planets will briefly reappear and the local wildlife gets confused, such as birds returning to their nests and animals will get quiet.
• The temperature will sllightly decrease due to the absence of sunlight.

How long will the 2024 total solar eclipse last? A little over 4 minutes with total darkness for those in the direct path of eclipse. UPDATE: I’ve added a couple of photos from this year’s 2024 total solar eclipse below.

Ingredients to make total solar eclipse cocktail:

Ingredients:

• 2 oz Northland blueberry blackberry acai juice
• 1 oz Vodka (Monkey in Paradise premium Vodka is my favorite)
• 1 oz coconut water
• Monster Energy Ultra Violet Zero Sugar drink (to top off)
• 1 piece of spherical ice (for garnish)
• Black sherbet edible glitter (optional, for a cool stars effect)
• Ice (for shaking)

Instructions:

1. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.
2. Add the blueberry blackberry acai juice, vodka, and coconut water.
3. Shake well until the mixture is thoroughly chilled.
4. Strain the mixture into your serving glass.
5. Top off with Monster Energy Ultra Violet Zero Sugar drink.
6. Garnish with the spherical ice piece and, if desired, sprinkle a little black sherbet edible glitter for a sparkling stars effect.

How to make a total solar eclipse cocktail drink

Ingredients:

• 2 oz blueberry blackberry acai juice
• 1 oz vodka
• 1 oz coconut water
• Ultra Violet Monster Energy Drink (to top off)
• Edible glitter (for sparkling stars)
• 1 sphere-shaped piece of ice (for a moon-shaped effect)

Instructions:

1. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.
2. Add the blueberry blackberry acai juice, vodka, and coconut water.
3. Shake well until the mixture is thoroughly chilled.
4. Strain and Pour the mixture into your serving glass.
5. Top Off with Ultra Violet Monster Energy Drink.
6. Garnish with edible glitter for sparkling stars.
7. Finish by placing a sphere-shaped piece of ice into the glass to mimic a moon.
