Lavender Lemonade

I made this drink on a visit to my parents’ house on a 95-degree day. It was such a great way to beat the heat and stay hydrated and quench our thirst. This Lavender Lemonade is also a beautiful colored drink, and the fruit infused ice cubes also add a touch of elegance, not to mention a tasty after treat once the ice has melted! Makes 4 servings.

Nature’s Flavors Lavender Flavor Syrup makes creating this Lavender Lemonade a cinch!
Let’s begin!
How to make lavender lemonade
Ingregrients:

Lavender Fruit Ice Cubes Ingredients:
- Ice cube tray or silicone mold
- Desired fruits (e.g., strawberries, blueberries, and blackberries)
- 4 cups water (plus extra water for the ice cube trays)
- 2 large lemons
- 6–8 tsp Nature’s Flavors Lavender Flavor Syrup
Optional:
- Extra lemon slices for garnish
Instructions:

Add a medley of fruit to ice cube tray or mold, then add 1 tsp of lavender syrup to each mold. I used a large mold, so adjust accordingly. If using a small ice cube mold, you may just want to use 1/4 tsp flavor syrup in each ice mold.
Next, fill each mold almost to top with water. Leave about 1/4-inch room from top for expansion. Freeze for 2-3 hours (larger ice cube molds could take 4-5 hours to set.)

In the meantime, make the lemon water in a pitcher:Add water to pitcher, then squeeze juice from two large lemons in and stir. Refrigerate lemon water until ready to use.

When ready to use, unmold ice cubes into a serving bowl or dish and use tongs to place one or two cubes in each glass.

Pour lemon water over the ice cubes until glass is almost full.

Garnish with a lemon slice, if desired.Best enjoyed outdoors on a hot summer day!
